What we store, why we store it, and what we never do with it.
Your profile (name, avatar colours), how you sign in (a Google account email, an email address, or a verified WhatsApp phone number), and your match data: crews you belong to, sessions, RSVPs, scores, rotations and recaps. That is the product; there is no hidden collection beyond it.
When you sign in with WhatsApp, YOU message US a one-time login code. We read that code and your WhatsApp number to verify it is you, reply once to confirm, and store the verified number on your profile. We never read other messages, never message you first, and never share your number. Login codes expire after five minutes and are deleted.
Photos are optional. When you upload one we square-crop it, strip every scrap of camera metadata (including location), and store only the processed image with Cloudflare R2. Remove it any time and your initials come back.
Off by default. If you turn yours on, anyone with your link sees your name, photo, sport and your own record: games, wins, win rate, streak. Never your phone, email, or anyone else's name. Turn it off and the link stops working immediately. If you claim a handle, that chosen name is publicly visible in your link.
You can connect Google and WhatsApp to the same account. A phone number or Google account belongs to exactly one profile; we never merge accounts automatically.
One session cookie keeps you signed in. One local setting remembers your court colour. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics that identify you.
Your crew sees what a teammate would: your name, RSVPs, scores and stats. Nobody outside your crew sees anything. We never sell or share personal data.
Ask and we erase your account. Your name, email, number, photo, handle and public profile are removed, every way of signing in is deleted, and your crew memberships are archived. You cannot sign in afterwards, and signing up again starts from zero.
Match history stays with the crew, because scores are the crew's shared record and deleting them would rewrite other people's games. What is left is a record with no personal details attached to it: the games remain, the person does not. Match night summaries already written may still mention a first name, so ask us if you need one of those redacted too.
